I'm totally stoked :!: :!: :!:

Today I'm picking up, along with a few other goodies, a Spektrum DX3R for my MERV/ERBE (Not sure which one to use for the ERevo VXL yet...) ;)

The thing looks KILLER!
Other than it's pea-green LCD screen.
Gunna have to find a way to get it to a blue backlit screen 8-)

You may all be jealous now! :twisted:

I'll post some pix of my setup soon. =)

Till then...

Happy Bashing!

Okay, so I changed my mind just a wee bit.

I ended up getting the DX3S instead of the R.

I like the Telemetry option. Temp, Voltage & RPM/Speed
But dang is it gunna be a pain in the side to figure out how to mount the speed detector in my MERV.

Yeah.

I like MERV better than ERBE

MERV = Mini ERevo Vxl
ERBE = ERevo Brushless Edition

MERV sounds just that much more Macho.. :twisted:
ERBE makes me think of Herby the love bug. :geek:

The new radio it working well.
Just finally got everything all installed. There's a few little quirks.
The Speed sensor is shorting out so I wanted you to take a look at it. It stops the whole truck from working.
I may have to get it replaced.
See my Traxxas Forum post: http://monster.traxxas.com/showthread.php?t=490328
I'll be by today sometime around 4pm as I'm hoping to get the tires & wheels I ordered, they should be in today!!!

Other than that, just gotta fine tune the radio & get used to it.
The car seems slower to respond on the throttle, and seems to be turning a bit to one side, but I MAY have fixed that but the rain started to come down so I couldn't test it much. =(
