Giant electric snake!!!

Well not really but check out this hydro line going in to a new power plant just across from us here in false creek. It causing some serious havok, it will take 3 days to move it into place if they are on schedual. This thing moves slow. I'm talking it moved a block in 5 hrs, but I guess when you think they are pulling a kilometer of wire I guess thats pretty far!

You asked the same questions I asked them!!! LOL.

They layed it out along those tracks and welded the sections together. Each section was about 15~20' long I think. I thought it was a spool perhaps as well but nope.

I know I need a steady cam for this little pocket cam, so small to handle with my shakeyness!! LOL

They are still moving it today, but its fully blocked in our block now.. boo.
