RC Club of Canada: Mini-Z Divisionis proud to Announce!
..Sunday Sept. 12th 10am-6pm
Guildford Mall Expo & Race Day!


We will be hosting another fun filled day @ the Guildford Mall Center Court.

Shake off the cob webs from your Mini-Z's & come show them off!

We will be setting up an even bigger track than last time!

There will be lots of open running time & also more organized races as well!

$10 will get you in on this great event and allow you to Run & Race all day long!

Audience participation will be kept to those that show an interest in joining our group or our RC Hobby. Age will also be a factor.

We will need lots of people out to show off our hobby & answer questions so be sure to cross post this & tell your friends!

Volunteers for setup & break down for before & after are needed, please PM me if you are able to help.
Setup will start @ approx. 8am, with Coffee & Donuts being provided this time! =)
I will update the post or PM those whom offer to help if that time changes.

There will be up to 5 tables & 10 chairs available via the mall, this should be enough for us to use. 1 for the Lap Counter setup, and 4 for the rest of us. Bring a camping chair & table if you arrive later. Table space is first come, first served.

There will be limited power bars & extension cables available, so if possible, bring your own & of course LOTS of Batteries & Chargers etc.

This event isn't only for Mini-Z's, feel free to bring out any Micro RC that will run on our track! IWaver, XMods or any other ~1:20-30 scale RC...

It's marked on my calendar and I am free all day. Since I only live down the block, I'll definitely be there to help setup.
I'll probably bring a couple non mini z cars as well. And I'm hoping to have one of my white bodies painted for racing.

You actually wanna park on the opposite side of the mall.
Near the Entrance by the Bay, Kins Market & Cobs etc.

Hey everyone!

Here's what I've put together for a track layout for the upcoming mall demo.

Lemme know what you think!
I tried to use all the track pieces that CRC & I have at our disposal.
There are some nice fast stretches & check out smaller technical corners in the middle! NASTY!!!
I coulda made um even smaller, but I'm not THAT mean!

The mall should be giving us extra tables & chairs this time.

Does anyone have a spare 94 MM body I can borrow for Sunday?

The one I have for my mod class car is still in pieces and I havn't gotten around to trying to repair it one last time or replacing it.

I wired up my lights today. Don't know why I didn't put a damn plug on before today as the lights have been in this body for the full time. They look great. Have a look.

Just a reminder about the Mini-Z Expo @ Guildford mall tomorrow, Sunday Sept. 12th from 10am-6pm.

We will be there starting at 8:30 for setup and warm-ups. =)

Come on out to help, to hang or to run for an hour, or two or all day!

Remember there will be a $10 door fee if you plan on running your car to help payback the insurance costs!

Come out & support our hobby and see if we can get ourselves some more addicts! :)

Great job to Rfick73 and all those who participated.
The crowds were great and I think there was more people watching than at the previous event.
There was definitely more drivers as could be seen at the constricted corners that were designed in just for that purpose.
Time will tell if we have more "new drivers" - hope so.
It was a great idea to get some of the "bigger toys" out for the "static display" (mostly static except for bernie who had to see if the trail rig would fit under the timing bar)!
