i was bored one day so i decided to mod this truck to accept dual battery tray. nothing big really just flipped the motor around to the front and flipped the center diff so i could have more space to put more batteries in the rear. i had to use a 46t spur to fit it cause it does not have the cut out on the chassis to allow me to use 50t flipped that way. i could use spacers but that will take more time to fabricate. i was thinking of running it on 8s2p, but with my gearing the motor will get hot fast unless i use a 1600 or 1800kv with 16t pinion. with the new battery locations i could make a 6s4p, but it will become too heavy so 6s2p or 4s4p are my choices. here are some pics. i ordered 2 battery trays 55x150 online to accept a123's. i'll keep you guys updated.
