the nos did not work for me
If you want insta-power the NOs kit would be the better of the 2... The supercharger, well, I can't see how it could work seeing it's a 2 stroke motor and having extra air shoved in would make more unburned fuel/air mix blow right past the cylinder and out the exhaust port...
Nitrous Xpress, yea the same ppl that make things for the 1:1 cars, also has a kit out, too... And I like it better than the RB one... It's a bit more affordable, but, I think it's the same unit, just retagged by RB... Therefore, marking up the price...
NOs in an RC can and will imporove performance.. But at a cost and I don't mean $$ cost... Cost will be higher temps when using spray as well as a severly diminished lifespan of the piston/sleeve like in a real car... The temps will be higher 'cos yer running more "air" and less fuel and without an EFI uint. it can't adjust the fuel rate to match the new air rate to make for a good air:fuel mixture... There ARE EFI units, but, they cost and aren't up to speed for land use far as I know...
You want to go faster? Get a bigger motor and/or run higher % of nitro... Advantages to higher % of nitro... You can run a bit leaner 'cos there's more nitro to help cool the engine somewhat.. Slightly longer runtimes and a MUCH snappier car for just a few $$ over yer regular fuel? That'd be the way to go... Instead of somethig that's practicly useless or can blow yer motor up... The supercharger is more of a bling thing than real world use...
