Malls are the best places to introduce the public to this hobby. We couldn't even get the Mini-z race in any mall but Aberdeen in Richmond. . .

Guildford has that main section by the Bay etc. Can we not rent that out for a show & shine type event?

Do they just not allow it? Even if we kept to Electric only?

I wonder..

If I wern't in Atlanta all this week, I'd walk over to the administration and have a chat with them.

Yeah, I think that's worth a try... but on second thought, CRC can't approach them because we run a hobby shop OUTSIDE the Mall.

no wonder they can do that inside the Mall of Asia considering it is the largest mall in the whole asia region. i've seen some racing events on the COD mall and also in Fiesta Carnival in Quezon City before.

Well last 30 years ago when I'm still a kid, I remember that COD on the 2nd floor there's a hobby shop thats sells nitro Rc airplane. That's the start of my passion in RC. Because, we are just poor and my family can't afford to buy me some of those rc toys and I said to my self that someday, I'm gonna have an RC for myself.

COD Mall doesn't exist anymore and so with Fiesta Carnival. they still conduct races and hobby shows in SM Malls occasionally.

Same here bro, never had the chance to buy a hobby grade RC when i was there. Can't afford it. i remember my very first RC comes with a remote with a buttons. as soon as you turn on the car, it goes forward, if you press the button it goes to reverse and at the same time turns, if you release it it just goes forward again, lol.
